Workshops
Diversity Equity Inclusion
We are committed to creating inclusive spaces where people can show up as their authentic self. We recognize the need to continually educate ourselves to meet that commitment and have partnered with knowledgeable and experienced facilitators. We are opening these online courses to everyone in our extended community and hope that you'll take advantage of this opportunity to bring back learning and best practices to your spaces, venues, classes, and theatres.
Topics currently available are focused on
-
Neurodivergent, Chronically-Ill, and Disabled People. This course is led by Create Access.
-
Transgender and Non-binary People. This course is led by Stephen Davidson.
This training is virtual, instructor-led, and conducted over Zoom. All courses are available to everyone, but you'll notice that the content for some of the courses is focused on arts organization leaders: Theatre leaders, management teams, board members, directors, coaches, and instructors who have direct influence on the policies and practices in your organization.
100% of the proceeds go to the facilitators. We are committed to ensuring this training is available to as many arts organizations and performers as possible. If cost is a barrier, Blumenthal Performing Arts will cover the costs for all who need it for the currently available classes.
All offerings are virtual.
